There aren’t many articles that discuss how marketers can use screen-recording software. Most articles that discuss screen recording software do so from a customer support or training perspective, as the professionals providing such support often need to make a quick capture of their screen. Why do marketers need screen-recording software? No matter the visual format though, marketers often find themselves needing to capture something on screen, either as a standalone image or a video recording.Īs such, every marketer should be well versed in and regularly use a screen recorder to better get across their message. Visual can include multiple formats, from a simple picture or an animated GIF to a more sophisticated visual storytelling content format, such as a data micrographic. Sadly, though, in my marketing efforts, I’ve learned that the best-written words often go unread unless accompanied by some effective visuals. As a strong advocate of written communication, I’m a firm believer in the adage that “the pen is mightier than the sword.” Among the many hats a marketer wears, one of the most important is communication.
